Monthly Life Release Program

Dear fellow Buddhist:
I would like to invite you to participate an extraordinary activity of animal release & life saving ceremony on a regular basis. By following the tradition at Larong Metropolis Buddhist University under the late His Holiness Jigme Phuntsog Rinpoche, I made an aspiration to establish a similar foundation in America for the sole purpose of saving lives.

For as little as one dollar per day, each member is asked to contribute up to $30 dollar per month. Entire amount will be used for purchasing the appropriate animal or baits to be released on a monthly basis. I will personally conduct all ceremonies.

As a token of appreciation and encouragement, all members will receive a newly translated ritual text composed by the omniscient Mipham Rinpoche along with a brief teaching on the merit of life saving, free of charge. I would like to stress the importance of this activity as indicated in Mipham Rinpoche’s commentary on Merit of the Three Supreme Jewels “from the initial path of taken refuge as a Buddhist, one needs to diligently amass merit until one reaches the ultimate results of complete & perfect enlightenment”. Therefore, life release is an essential yet convenient method for Buddhist to cultivate great compassion and generate merit.
